Level 2 Certificate in Personal Effectiveness (Seven Habits)
This qualification is approved by the QCA, DFES, CCEA (Northern Ireland) and ACCAC (Wales) for delivery to the following age ranges: 14-16; 16-19; 19+ and is made up of two mandatory units with flexible delivery over 22 guided learning hours.
National Occupational Standards
This Level 2 Certificate in Personal Effectiveness has been mapped into The Management Standards Centre's new National Occupational Standards for management and leadership, specifically addressing units A1/A3/D1.

D1 - Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
Unit One - Achieving Personal Effectiveness
This unit covers the skills required to enable the individual to cope with personal challenges both within the school / work environment as well as their lives in general. The unit also develops the knowledge base required by the individual to form positive and effective habits to enable them to achieve their goals.
Unit Two - Working Effectively with Others
This unit covers the skills required by the individual to live, work and integrate effectively with those around them including their peers, teachers, parents and employers. The unit encourages the individual to take responsibility for their role within a team an in turn wider society. The concept of win-win will be introduced as will the competencies required to enable effective communication within a team and the importance of active listening. The individual will be inspired to see challenges as opportunities and to equip them with the skills required to develop a solution finding attitude within a team.
Assessment
The assessment will take the form of two multiple choice papers each consisting of 20 questions. The assessment is conducted in centre and will be marked by Qualifications Network.
